Nina was born in Ukraine and moved to the United States along with her parents at the age of 4. Prior to the move, Nina was enrolled in a European ballet program where she gained the basic knowledge of discipline, movement, and control. She grew to really enjoy the sport and decided to continue her passion as soon as she immigrated to the United States. 

 

    Soon after, Nina was introduced to the world of Ballroom DanceSport by her mother who always had a love for the art and prior experience. Nina started competing in International Latin at the young age of 8; her drive for dance increased after experiencing the excitement of competitions. Throughout her competitive dance career, Nina placed highly in numerous competitions. Her most notable wins came in 2012, when she took home the gold at Mid-Atlantic Regional DanceSport Championship which scored her a ticket to compete in the USA Dance National DanceSport Championships. Nina then went on to bring back the National title, by becoming the National Champion in her division after many years of hard work and dedication. Aside from her competitive dance career, Nina has been featured in multiple projects which include

    After many years in the dance industry, Nina decided to share her knowledge with the younger generation and started coaching. Her love for guiding young dancers and the competitive dance industry helped her in securing the role of On Deck Coordinator at many prestigious competitions. Since then, Nina has guided dancers of all ages to reach their highest potential in competitive DanceSport. Many of her students are high ranking competitors, some of which have followed in their coaches footsteps claiming National titles of their own.

 

    Having grown up on stage studying theater, singing, and dance Nina developed a truly unique and artistic style which shows in her teaching. She puts a high emphasis on floor craft and performance, striving to help each dancer find their own personalized style and character. Nina is very excited to pursue a new chapter acting as the Studio Manager for VIBE DanceSport.
