Marc Zhadan was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in a city where everyone is always striving for greatness, Marc fell in love with basketball, football, and baseball— dreaming that being a part of a sport would be his calling. At the early age of 9, Marc was introduced to Latin dancing. At first, he wasn’t too sure about this sport because it was different, but with a push from his parents and being introduced to the freedom of expression, he was hooked and could not think of a better way to utilize his free time. Once he started competing as an adolescent to present day, it became apparent that he is cut out for this cloth, which is reflected by these achievements:

• 2012 National DanceSport Championship Junior Finalist

• 2015 American Star Ball Youth Pre Champ winner

• 2020 Kings Ball Amateur Latin Champion

• 2022 Miami Vibe Amateur Latin Champion

• 2024 New York Dance Festival Top 25 Amateur Latin Championships

    After all these accomplishments, Marc continues to push himself and strive to be the best dancer he can be by hard work, commitment, and passion. Even with Marc’s drive to be better at dance he finds time to share his knowledge through teaching students to be the best version of themselves within the art of dance. Marc believes it is fundamental to pass on the technical elements and joy of dance to every student that he comes across. Being the competitor Marc is, he is dedicated to maximizing his students potentials, so they can exceed their own exceptions within each lesson. 

    Dancing has created many extraordinary memories for Marc. As Marc proceeds to produce more memories for him and his students, Marc’s main goal in life is to reveal a connection between dance and life itself. Marc believes that you can learn so much from dance and that the lessons learned can be applied to a person’s everyday life. When that connection is made, then and only then Marc believes that he has helped someone to not only grow to be a better dancer, but overall a better individual in life.
