Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Gabrielle Sabler's story is one of early talent recognition and a passion for dance. From a young age, her love for music and natural inclination for dance was evident.  Having early exposure to different styles of dance such as ballet and tap, coupled with her competitive drive and dedication, drove her to numerous achievements in the world of ballroom dance. Gaby's dancesport journey began at the age of 8 ,traveling to compete around the nation. Between 2008 and 2009, Gabrielle became a defending U.S.A National Champion in the Junior International Latin division. The most notable milestone in her Junior career came with the honor of representing the United States in Ukraine at the World Junior IDSF Dancesport Championship (currently known as WDSF). Gaby became a finalist, placing 5th, amongst the best dancers from around the world. Never being one to turn down a challenge, Gabrielle's ability and versatility was showcased as she ventured into International Standard. Nearly 4 months later she became a U.S.A Junior Vice-Champion in 10 Dance.

Gabrielle's success in her competitive dance journey continued to heighten through 2008-2011, becoming a 5-time International Latin, 2-time International Standard,  and 2-time 10 Dance Youth National finalist across the United States. In 2013, she competed in the Under 21 division at the USA Nationals. Despite only being 17, she continued to dominate the DanceSport industry, claiming yet another National Championship title in Under 21. Under 21 also brought Gaby international recognition, as she maintained her position as a finalist in the international latin division at the WDC Worlds and Dutch Open.

Being a DanceSport athlete and a full time student, she constantly balanced her rigorous training and still managed to excel in her academics. Gabrielle graduated at the top of her class with honors and started her college education. Shortly after, it was clear that ballroom dancing was more than just a youthful hobby and she decided to pursue a career in ballroom dancing.

Competitively, Gaby continued to leave her mark on the dance floor adding to her already extended list of achievements. As an Amateur & Professional competitor she was awarded:

• Open To The World Professional Rising Star Champion (2019)

• International Championships Professional Rising Star Champion (2019)

• UK Open Professional Rising Star Finalist (2020)

• 2-Time USA Professional National Finalist (2021-2022)

• Current Champion & Finalist in the US Professional DanceSport Industry

Gabrielle's extensive competitive ballroom dance career, coupled with over 10 years of teaching experience, allows her to provide first hand knowledge and insight to her students. She aspires to be more than just a dance teacher, empowering students' to surpass their own expectations, while leaving a positive impact in their lives. 

Gabrielle’s vision to redefine the standards of the DanceSport industry, comes from the belief that dance has the transformative power to unite people worldwide. Founded on these convictions, New York VIBE was born!
